Dr. Patricia Samuel is originally from Brazil but grew up in Lowell, Mass. Â She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the UMASS Amherst with a focus in Neuroscience Psychology. Â Alongside with her husband Dr. Daldine, Dr. Samuel also received her doctorate in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Â She completed an internship in Juneau, Alaska with a heavy emphasis on diabetic retinopathy care.
Since she herself has worn glasses from a young age, Dr. Samuel developed a special interest in pediatric optometry and is excited to expand on her experience in Nashua providing exams to infants as young as 6 months old. Â She is able to diagnose and treat children with binocular vision disorders including amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye turn). She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.
Dr. Samuel is thrilled to be back to New England where she can enjoy hiking, canoeing, and spending time with her family.  She loves trying new restaurants (unless Dr. Daldine is BBQ’ing), so be sure to let her know what your favorites are around Nashua.
